Should Christians Celebrate Passover?

In today’s broadcast, I ask and answer a very important question. Should we as Christians, observe or celebrate the Passover? In short, I believe the answer is yes. Jesus observed the Passover feast, and so did his disciples. This is both with Jesus and after the death and resurrection of Christ, who was the fulfillment of Passover.

1 Peter 1:18-21 – 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. King James Version

Paul also observed Passover and talked about keeping the Feast in his letter to the Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 – Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.  King James Version

In the podcast I speak to this idea and what it looks like for Christians today. Enjoy and God bless.
